I hope y'all listened to The Herd this morning and heard Colin Cowherd interview Jim Harbaugh...
You walk away from hearing that conversation thinking that there is no way we pass on Andrew Luck, or Jim Harbaugh.. The things he said about the kid, raning from comparing him to his wife by saying that he is perfect, that there is nothing you could ask him to do more and and nothing you want him to do less of. And that he has the ability in crunch time to elevate his game, a quality he believes seperates the great from the very best.. Also, the fact that his dad was a former NFL quarterback, Oliver Luck, does nothing but advance his skills and mind and yet another great quality of this guy..
I feel like if we pass on Andrew Luck, it'll be the equivalent of the Portland Trailblazers selecting Greg Oden over Kevin Durant, and I just hope and pray we don't miss this once in a ten-year span opportunity we have. For those of you that still like Clausen, that's fine, we should keep him and continue to develop him much like Philly has done with Kevin Kolb and if he develops we can turn him into valueable draft picks, its a win-win situation in my opinion.
By the way Cowherd said the year we draft Luck, we would be a viable football team, and that we are not terrible, we're just beat up...
Also, I think it's a no-brainer that we go with a somewhat young and up and coming coach, Jim Harbaugh, 46, with an NFL pedigree and a great bloodline and past success no matter where he's been..
Come on Mr. RIchardson make us proud, or make me the GM!!!!
Just a thought for all of y'all, Go Panthers, get that #1 pick and take Andrew Luck
