PFC (Panthers Fan Coach) says. The Panther Coaches should have keep Jake and Moose for just 1 more year. Not to start and play, but since Jake is still on the Panthers payroll for the 2010 season anyway why not keep him to teach excitement and leadership to Matt Moore, Tony Pike, and Jimmy Clausen. Moose can walk the walk and talk the talk, why not keep Moose to teach head game/hand game to all other receivers. You can just see it in the face of Matt Moore and Tony Pike that they are glad to be in Carolina and they want to make a positive difference for the Carolina Panthers. You just can’t see that in Jimmy Clausen. Trade Clausen for young kick-ass offensive linemen. Terry Bradshaw is a hall of famer and one of the best ever NFL quarterbacks, and he says Clausen is not a difference maker. I think he is right.
Matt Moore is in somewhat the same spot Tom Brady was in a few years ago when he stepped out of the shadows as an unknown unproven quarterback to make his start to greatness. Give Matt his chance and start him all the way in 2010 season.
Somebody please wake up the Panther coaches. Matt Moore is the solution, not the problem. The Carolina Panthers have abandoned Matt Moore. Why? Matt was sacked 8 times in first 2 games of the 2010 season, this is not a Matt Moore problem, duh, this is an offensive line problem. In 2009, Matt Moore’s pass completion percentage was 61% when he had an offensive line who protected him. Matt sat behind Jake for 3 years and learned Jake’s great leadership skills and now this is Matt’s time to shine. Come on Panther coaches, don’t kill the 2010 season for the Panthers and don’t kill Matt Moore’s chance at greatness. The Panthers can have a 2010 winning season by going with and staying with Matt Moore as the 2010 starter all year without a doubt, give him a full year to run the Panthers offense, then you will see his leadership and the his winning ways just like he finished the end of the 2009 season.
As Matt Moore’s backup, use Tony Pike, he is 6’ 6” and can see over anything in the defensive line.
