Panthers Offense A Horror Show in 20-10 Loss to Rams

It was fitting on Halloween the Panthers offense produced another scary performance...ugly and gory at best. So the question as to whether the win over the 49ers last week was a mirage it was indeed. This offense learned nothing from last week, instead deploying a supposed element of trickery only to fool no one. QB Matt Moore flashed back to weeks 1 & 2 with 3 INTs. Just terrible

Moore wasn't by himself in poor play. The offensive line did him or the running game no favors. WR Steve Smith had several drops and a critical fumble. New found star WR David Gettis was a complete no show as he didn't catch a pass.

The defense on the other hand though gives up 20 points, half of which was in response to the offenses turnovers in the Panthers side of the field. They held RB Steven Jackson well under his average. Though they produced no turnovers they kept the Panthers in the game until late int he 2nd half.

Yet they can't overcome an offense that puts up 25 yds rushing and turns the ball over 3 times. 10 points is just never going to get it done against even the worst NFL team.

Panthers fall to 1-6...Top 10 pick probability gets a boost!

More detail to come but let's use this thread for post-game thoughts...
