FFL: Football and Beer on NFL.com - this is just wrong on so many levels

Okay, I overcoach every team I play with and I accept that. Others are much more subtle with their changes, but generally everyone has to make a change here and there due to injury, byes, etc.

FFL reminds me a lot of golf sometimes. You hit the perfect shot, but the wind comes up and you're in the woods or water. You make the perfect start, and he gets injured in the first quarter. You play a great round, and the guy who only plays twice a year takes your money. Your FFL team scores a lot of points, but Kenny effing Britt goes for 40 for the other team and you lose. You've got a great round going, and then blow the whole thing on the 18th hole. You're ahead by 20 on Monday morning with a player still to play for both teams, and it all goes to hell on Monday night.

Okay, I get it. You just have to enjoy it for what it is, and laugh it off when it doesn't go your way. But, but, but...

But how is it possible that the lone undefeated team in this league has made no changes. NONE -- players on byes, still starting; players on IR, still starting. I'm not even sure he participated in the draft. Dude beat me by 17 in week 2 using Kolb as his QB (Kolb was out with a concussion, Vick played)! He has an unblemished 7-0-0 record.

So does this mean anything? Just pure luck? We'll see if James' Kick Ass Laser Koalas can take him down this week. Mr. Perfect's got 3 starters on their bye week (including Kolb and McCoy) AND one on IR (Dallas Clark). If James can't take him down this week, then there's some serious psychic shit going on here. Or maybe Fantasy Football is like the movie "War Games". It's like Global Thermo-nuclear War - The only way to win is not to play.

End Rant. GO PANTHERS!!!
