So, I was simply probing through the NFL Preseason Stats looking for some juicy little nuggets when I struck gold as I was looking at QB numbers....and I saw Matt Moore's and Josh McCown's numbers come up, and it brought me to this query:
Since it seems that Jake Delhomme being a starter this year raises significant issues between Panther fans and followers...Who should start if something terrible (God Forbid) happen to Jake Delhomme and he'gotta go home...who do you like to be the 2nd string QB??
Please viciously argue and debate about who you are comfortable with coming under center as 2nd string as this will be very interesting, but please leave Jake out of this. Everybody knows of the rift between fans pro Jake and against Jake and the arguement that is against and for, but this conversation is not to be about Jake or anybody else not on the roster, it is about who starts behind him...
Here are some numbers:
In the Preseason:
Joshua McCown: 66.2 QB Rating, 0TDs 1INT, 23 of 37, 62.2 Completion Pct.,
Matty Moore: 58.5 QB Rating, 0TDs 1INT, 16 of 29, 55.2 Completion Pct.,
Okay these Preseason numbers are pretty neck and neck, so here's a look at their career stats:
McCown: 12 wins 19 losses, 71.6 Career QB rating, 35 TDs 40 INTs, 6582 Career yards, 8th season
Moore: 2 career wins1 loss, 67.0 Career QB rating, 3 TDs 5 INTs, 730 Career yards, 3rd Season, NFL Rookie of the Month (12/07)
So who are you more comfortable with as starting QB sans Jake...McCown or Moore??
OR........................................
OKAY, I WANT A CLEAN FIGHT, NOW LETS GET IN ON!!!!
