Panthers tried to claim three other players

Posted by ESPN.com’s Pat YasinskasWe reported earlier that the Carolina Panthers had claimed defensive tackle Ra’Shon “Sonny’’ Harris and running back Tyrell Sutton off waivers Sunday.
But sometimes it’s just as interesting and enlightening to see who teams try to claim, but don’t end up getting those players. The Panthers put in three other claims Sunday on players they didn’t get.
They put in unsuccessful claims on defensive tackle Vance Walker, defensive end Derreck Robinson and defensive tackle Antonio Dixon.
