people were bitching and moaning about him being underused. I think discussion was about how he would fare in a pass happy offense. Statistically you would expect him to be better.

That said, I agree with the point that I think you are making. If any thing we need more targets so that we can spread it around a little more ( I think even 3-4 passes would make a difference being directed to other players) and Smitty will likely remain just as productive. I think we may be able to do this a little more over the next few weeks.

However, our problems are on the defensive side really. I don’t think the offense is okay if Jake is given time.
