Maybe this week if Diggs can't go
But they did use Anderson instead when Diggs went down with the injury.
I blog the Carolina Panthers at www.catscratchreader.com
Anderson's been the one getting the reps at OLB.
Connor has probably seen most of his practice time at MLB behind Beason. Hard for a player that young to know every spot in the LB corps.
Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

He's next in line on depth chart
People often forget, he played 3 yrs at OLB at Penn St. before he moved to the MLB in his Sr year. With Beason being just a shade older, what are they going to do, only use him if Beason gets injured again….. leaving him just sit on the bench? ….. They’re not giving him really any playing time. What a waste. The 4th quarter against the Eagles would have given him valuable game time. If you are high on a guy, like the Panthers say, they need to keep his skills sharpened

Not quite.
Beason is the #2 MLB. Anderson is the #3 OLB. He’s listed as the backup on the weakside, but given he came in and not Johnson, one would assume he’s ahead of Johnson on the strong side too.
Just because a guy isn’t starting as a rookie or second-year player doesn’t mean he won’t get time eventually. Look at Marshall.
