Can someone explain the process of putting players on the practice squad?  I thought I heard they have to clear waivers first, and then can sign as PS player with any team.  Is that how it works?  If so, I think we need to keep Cantwell as #3 QB and trade Moore for a DT.  I don't think Cantwell will clear waivers and if I understand the process correctly then he's gone.

Isn't it limited to 6 or so players?
