Steve Smith Injured in Practice
NFL.com is reporting Steve Smith suffered an injury to his arm in practice today.

…Steve Smith was carted off the field. He believes it’s probably a shoulder injury. No report from the doctors or trainers yet.

Based on early indications, the speculation is that Smith is gone for the preseason. It’s too early to tell anything further out than that.
The injury occured during a practice without pads. He collided with Chris Gamble and fell on his right shoulder. Smith was in considerable pain. Apparently, he was considering returning to Charlotte for an MRI.
