I thought for a little while how to discribe these two people.
I think I’ll just go with fail. Just a couple of fans pretending to be commentators. Two much talk about QB’s, too little analysis. I mentally tuned out when he claimed that “Drew Brees did good, but not good enough to get them into the postseason.”
Where are the statistics? I would have praised the Saints offense and spoke of the additions the Saints made on their defense like Jabari Greer and their draft picks. I would have gone over all the additions that made the Falcons contenders, like the additions of Michael Turner, their O-Line, Matt Ryan, and the emergence of Roddy White. But I would have very cautiously warned the audience that they lost a bunch of guys on the defensive side of the ball in free agency, so we’d have to see how this new crew performs during the season. I would have let the Bucs have it for getting rid of Jeff Garcia, but praise them for preparing for the future in Josh Freeman, and spoke of the various parts on their defense they lost to retirement and FA. I would have made a short runover of their late season collapse, and why it occurred.
As for Carolina….another Jake Hater….ugh….did he name one guy that might have replaced him? Nope. I’m afraid that these guys are simply pretending to be commentators, and letting personal bias influence their opinions instead of actual facts.
Come again when you have some statistics to throw at me.

I think what the guy meant by the Drew Brees comment was . . .
. . . that given how well he played last year and they still did not make the playoffs, then they are in trouble. Odds are that he will not have the same all-world season, so even if the D picks it up a little, then that still won’t be enough.

Wow, great analysis.
It’s tough to say a team should win 10 games without saying one good thing about it.
Remember, kids...don't ever let facts get in the way of your argument.
And three 9-win teams in the division again?
Dude just says what he thinks. You had it right, Rev.
