I know we've all seen this video, but I am still... well... Thunderstruck by it. This guy is fast, breaking tackles, running left, right, up the gut, catching out of the backfield, catching long passes! And making huge plays. But I just don't get it! How can a guy have a highlight tape like this, with only two real years of playing time, while splitting carries! What gives?

No Scrubs
I was watching the teams he did this on — Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. I was expecting the usual tape on “This Awesome Guy Shows his stuff on ‘Sister-Mary-School-for-the-Blind’”. But no scrubs here, all first-tier programs. Great vision, great direction changing, and awesome acceleration. How did the earlier rounds miss this guy? So the idea is he will be our next Nick Goings? “The everything guy”?
With our current two backs and Goodson, will Jake even get the chance to pass? Smitty’s gonna be pissed.
