Panther Draft Picks Select Their Numbers

Top Panthers drat pick Everette Brown has selected #91, the same worn by former Pro Bowler Kevin Greene. Could that be a good omen? Here the rest of the numbers selected and some other number changes:

Sherrod Martin - 23 (and Dante Wesley goes back to 21 now that Ken Lucas is gone).

Corvey Irvin - 93 (this wouldn't have bothered me as much if they hadn't given it to Darwin Walker last year).

Mike Goodson - 33

Tony Fiammetta - 42

Duke Robinson - 72 (once worn by 1998's chimney sweeping replacement LS Danny Villa)

Captain Munnerlyn - 41

Update from MP below:

Landon Johnson switched from 54 to 59, Nick Hayden went from 78 to 98 (YAY!), and Bernardeau went from 65 to 73. Lastly, Jason Kyle’s 56 has been left open, leaving open the notion that they still plan to have him back.

I agree...

made him seem much more like a PS player than a legit 53-man roster candidate.

Think if Kyle doesn't come back

that UNC guy Hilee Taylor goes after 56? Having a Taylor in #56 sacking the QB would be poetic.
