Peppers to Houston Ruled Out
Yesterday, the Houston Texans signed free agent DE Antonio Smith, formerly with the Arizona Cardinals. This mean any talk of a Super Mario and Spicy Peppers line up is over.
"I think it's going to be a great pair," Smith said. "I think that having [Mario Williams] on the other side is going to be fun. I like to have fun out there, and I think that's exactly what it's going to be. We're going to cause a lot of havoc for the offensive linemen out there."
This leaves the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins as the most rumored landing spots left for Julius Peppers. Although there is also the rumor (search for Peppers) started by Jordan Gross that Peppers may decide to stay with the Panthers.

If he stays what a huge cap hit
that is to keep him for what would be a drama filled $16+M deal.

Bly got cut earlier this off-season. I wouldn’t mind Peppers for Cutler/Royal, but do you really think that a rebuilding team is going to trade two of their best young players for a veteran DE that probably won’t help them win this year?
They won't trade Cutler & Royal
Cutler might be on the block, he might not be. Who knows.
Royal is not going anywhere.
They’ve also shopped TE Tony Scheffler, it seems.
Arinzona?
I think if they include Boldins and two high draft picks, then carolina should take that immediately (probably wishful thinking though).

I'm now thinking New England might actually pony up the two #1 draft picks

Delhomme
How about Peppers to NE for their 1st round and the Chiefs second round. Then Delhomme and Chiefs second round to Denver for Cutler?

Sounds good if the Broncos would agree
All that noise about Cutler being shopped was overblown I heard. It was teams approaching the Broncos, not them shopping him so I can’t imagine he is available.
