New Panther Fan on the Way
It's been a while since I've posted a new blog for everyone and well there's a bit of a reason and I figured it was time to give a personal update to explain. My wife, Mindy, and I are expecting another Panther fan to join our household just in time for the the 2009 season kickoff, around August 25. We've known for a few weeks and are now 11 weeks along in our journey.
Things had been pretty smooth, except for some typical "morning" sickness. That is until last Sunday. Her blood pressure dropped quite low (75 / 50). Come to find out this is common and un-harmful, but has caused her to be dizzy and basically the feeling of constant motion sickness. Needless to say, this been a tough week. We've been adjusting to new schedules and such so I've had a bit less time to write this week. Hopefully its won't last much longer, but regardless I should be able to get a few stories posted in the short term.
We just had our second baby doctor appointment today and all is fine with the baby and we are thankful for that. Below is a ultrasound from week 7 (Jan 5). Illustrations were added by my wife.

Sorry but it kinda looks like a manatee :)
My wife still has the ultra-sound from our first son on the wall at home. Looks about the same!

Congratulations!
Are you going to try to convince DeAngelo Williams to be the godfather?
Congratulations!
Now he’s got a little over 6 months to draw up a game plan to get out of there.

You should redo that drawing
but chalk it as an offensive play… your wife will love it.
