I want to start a discussion of what do we do, knowing what we know.

Here is where I view the key and serious issues at this point:

It appears that Matt Moore will probably start the rest of the year, providing he doesn’t pull a “Delhomme”.
John Fox’s job is dependant upon the production of the team for the rest of the year.
Marty Hurney has provided us with draft day one depletion of first round draft picks.
Jake Delhomme’s contract as above is going to sting us for the next 3 years. Unless he is in a charitable mode, we are gonna eat a large bill.

Knowing what we know about Jake’s contract, what do we do with him? What is his role for the rest of the year? Do we give him another chance a redemption (Part III)?

How about in the off season? Do we cut bait and try to get a new starter? Try to renogotiate his contract to help us out on cap hit, and allow him to remain with team? Will his role be reserved for backup and how will he take it?

Who do you trust for the future quarterbacking the Panthers? Do you see anymore gas in the tank for Jake? Do you truly see Matt Moore as a legitimate threat and leader? Should we start over?
