GT Wins ACC Championship!!

What a great game...even better that GT won...Orange Bowl bound. Sorry Clemson fans...we just got your number. Was I worried when Clemson scored to take a 34-33 lead? Nah...well maybe a little. But Clemson had stopped GT from scoring only once all night so I knew GT could do it. I just hoped they didn't leave too much time on the clock...and then they did. I minute and 20 seconds actually. But the defense stepped up...well DE Derrick Morgan did on that 4th down. Why in the world they started to throwing the ball rather than just handing it off to Spiller is beyond me.

CJ Spiller should win the Heisman if those guys know anything about football. The guy is just incredible. 200+ yards and 4 TD's.

RB Jonathan Dwyer is only a Junior but he will be playing in the NFL next season. Morgan too unfortunately.

The Citrus is a fine bowl Clemson fans...he he he  ;)

We'll be in south Florida though, probably playing TCU who beat Clemson early in the season.

So GT coach Paul Johnson wins the ACC in his second season. I guess that truly answers the question as to whether you can win running the triple option at the top level of college football. Sign that guy to 20 years...give him the keys to the ATL. I'm sold, Johnson IS my daddy!

Good game Jaxon! Your team did a magnificent job.

As a Clemson fan, I’m sure I will be in mourning all week. Georgia Tech did a great job executing their triple option offense from start to finish. It’s amazing to see Paul Johnson turn around the program at Georgia Tech in so short an amount of time.

What we saw yesterday was a game that fans love best: A shootout where both defenses completely collapse and give way to multiple scores. Clemson rode the back of CJ Spiller and he singlehandedly almost won us the game, and Georgia Tech rode the back of the triple option offense and continued to get the ball to the open man while Clemson could not figure out whom was carrying the football. Overall, we were all screaming at our defenses and cheering our offenses. It was an excellent game.

I’m highly excited about the future of our program. Even though Clemson lost the game, at the same time you have to be an optimist and remember that Dabo Swinney has only been in control of the program for a short period of time. His arrival is going to make people who originally dismissed Clemson as a program of mediocrity to take a second look, and realize that it’s a program with something to prove.

Congratulations to Georgia Tech for winning the ACC this year. You guys deserved it.

Next year God will be writing history with a orange pawprint pen. We will have our revenge.

Swinney has done well in his first full year...

You need a QB though…and how do you replace Spiller?

In a nutshell, you don't. You can't replace a player like CJ Spiller no matter how hard you try.

We do have a QB though in Kyle Parker. He was a 4 star recruit out of Jacksonville FL, right next to my old home town. As a starting redshirt freshman, he’s done everything that has been expected of him this year and more. He’s proven he can move the ball downfield on 3rd down time and time again against most of the ACC defenses, and he’s only going to get better as he develops a chemistry with the rest of our receiving core.

If Parker goes down or falters, we have another 4 star recruit in Tajh Boyd. He’s pretty decent, but untested on the college level. My gut tells me we won’t need him though.

As for the RB position, we have two solid guys in Jamie Harper, your ground and pound bruiser at 6 feet and 225 pound and Andre Ellington, whom plays and looks a lot like CJ Spiller if you squint hard enough. They’ll both be in their junior year next year, giving us two wonderful years of Tiger Football for now and forever.

Add that onto the fact that our young O-Line will have another year of experience under their belt, and the Tigers will rise again! .

I'd love to get Morgan.

But he’s to good to fall to the 2nd.:(

Yeah...no way he lasts past #20 I would say

The guy just dominates whatever blocking scheme he faces…he’s a big time 4-3 DE

There would be plenty who'd suggest...

That the ACC is hardly the top level of college football. And I’m a fan of the conference.

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.
