Vikings vs. Panthers Game Day Open Thread
Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers, Dec 20, 2009 8:20 PM EST
Welcome back for a Sunday Night Edition of Panther Football my fellow Panther fans. Though the season has not gone as planned a victory tonight against the 11-2 Vikings would go a long way to restoring some of the lost confidence in this team.
The analysis has been done, the prognostications complete. There is nothing left to do but play the game!
This is now an Open Thread!

Lets hope they give us a good game to watch
I blog the Carolina Panthers at www.catscratchreader.com
As if watching my beloved Panthers is not enough...
I also need DWill to do me some fantasy magic.
And, I love to see Favre get knocked around…
Hey guys....
Over/Under on how many times Collinsworth/Michaels licks Favre’s taint — 49.5
I’ll take the over — anyone else in?
I hope we get to hear how great his eye discipline is.

Well guys, I'm here.
I might have to tie myself to my seat though in order to keep me watching this game.

You know, it's funny.
The Vikings could have been us.
Remember the rumors of Favre to Carolina the year he went to the Jets? The NFL is a funny place.

Yeah, they definitely would have replaced Delhomme.

Here we go....
I spent most of my day digging out from a 24’’ blizzard and am ready for some football.
Lets get it done tonite,,..GO PANTHERS!!!
I've been trying to write articles lately, but they've all come out rants about our team.
We’re better than this. 5-8? I’ve hit rock bottom guys. Lol

cos it was a first round pick for this year where
we could have got a Qb good for a second rounder but remember we traded a 1st fir him
We only had to trade a future first because we blew our load for Otah.

If he continues playing like this I may not need to see much more from him
for the jury to come in….nope, need to keep looking for a QB

i'm almost at that point myself
i’ve been giving him the benefit of the doubt because of rust and coaching — but i’m beginning to think that he has been the backup all this time for a reason
We can always just ask somebody to make a glowing review of him on CSR regardless of his actual performance.

Do we keep him?
I think he's enjoying himself
I predict he stays — he shows me he respects the system Meeks has installed, and I think he now sees the potential this team has for next year. I even predict he restructures a long-term, affordable contract to make it work, for him and the team. I suspect that shit last January was the work of his amateur, idiot agent.
