Breaking News: Charges Against Panthers LB Jon Beason Dropped
Mecklenburg County prosecutors won’t pursue the criminal charges filed against Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason, his attorney said Friday.
Attorney George Laughrun received a two-page notice that the case was being dismissed, saying that the Mecklenburg County district attorney’s office didn’t find sufficient evidence to continue to the case.
"That was a pretty big vindication of Jon," Laughrun said.

He's still got the civil case to deal with...
but I hope people are ready to eat their words who labeled him as a ‘thug’ day one without really looking into the situation.

Ha. This.
Overheard in press box, from local reporter: 'If this Moore kid was any good, they'd be up 31-0 right now.'

I wonder if he still continue to go to strip clubs until the wee hours?
I blog the Carolina Panthers at www.catscratchreader.com
I'm trying to think of the last time I heard about something good happening in a strip club parking lot at 2am...
Yup. I got nothing.

Where was it ever mentioned to have occurred in the parking lot, or at 2AM?
The Atlanta game was over around 4PM, and was walking distance from the stadium. Beason was said to be there to celebrate the win. Maybe I’m wrong, but the time of the incident was never published that I read, and I assumed that the alleged incident took place much earlier than the “wee hours.”
…“just the facts, ma’am”
Its not my venue of choice...
But if it’s where he likes to be, I won’t be the one to judge.

I don't see why he wouldn't.
He’s a grown man, and he didn’t do a thing wrong.

Ahaha!
Great link, BigDavis. You always manage to dig up some good information regarding the subject.
Now, can they just prosecute Mr. SmallFrye for being a f**kstick and defaming the images of Beason and the Panthers as a whole? That’d make me happy.
Beason’s known all over the internet as a thug now and I’m sure over half of the people that took the time to read what he allegedly did wrong won’t take the time to read that he was cleared. Besides, I’m sure the charges being dropped won’t get near the attention they originally got when filed anyways.

I still don't see anyone eating their words
