Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

I can't agree with some of the teams ranked above us but a win this weekend will solve some of that. Here's the write-up which is intended to torque Panther fans up a little:

The Panthers have found their winning formula: run nearly every down, and then every now and then, bomb one deep to Steve Smith. In other words, make your $42.5 million quarterback as much of a non-factor as possible.

Good win last week...

But, where do you think you should be ranked???

After scoring just 9 pts against Buffalo in your own house just two weeks ago, you think the whole season has been turned around after playing against a flat, hungover Cardinals team?

I hope the game this weekend is competitive, as it is never nice to embarrass a rival, but a 3-5 record and a top 10 draft choice is in your future.

Ah, yes, I’m sure that game will be stick out as a sore thumb for the rest of this season. Our O.C. was an idiot, what more is there to say?

I’m not even worried about who’s ahead of us right now, it won’t be that way for long.

A top 10 draft choice is in San Fran's future.

Since we traded next year’s #1 for a #2 and #5 this year.

Unless you mean a little further into the future… like the 2011 draft…

sigh

Ask DRC if he thinks Delhomme is a non-factor.

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

He's not a non-factor...

Delhomme has actually helped the other teams score on several occasions this year!

Also, we're actually #21

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.
