From Realfootball365...
This is a "mid-season grade" from an evaluator on the realfootball365 website.
"Next up, Carolina. I can just hear the collective grimace of all Panther fans. This is one enigmatic team. One of the most highly talented teams, although you’d never know it looking at their record, that just can’t seem to get it together this season.
Jake Delhomme is playing like Ryan Leaf, their running game is inconsistent at best and their defense just looks atrocious. Everything is not all bad, though. Steve Smith is still one of, if not the, most unstoppable wide receivers in the game. They have that two headed running attack that can scorch a defense. Coming off a bye week is usually good for a team, but Carolina gets New Orleans. Don’t look for the Panthers to ditch their losing trend just yet. Overall grade: D"
Umm, right. Apparently, in this guy's world, atrocious means:

He was saying Carolina is coming off a bye week.
What a fail… is it really that difficult to look up information before writing something on a website? Bravo Realfootball365… you can find the bye week information anywhere.
But they got to name drop Ryan Leaf, so I’m sure they’re proud.

That’s what I intended to question but I typed it wrong lol
Btw, great find ERL, I now know to never listen to “realfootball” :)
Can I make a suggestion to them? “Carolina destroys leagues top rush defense, steamrolling to third Super Bowl in two years, after their bye.” (They just might believe it)
Oh, and Steve Smith is unstoppable.
Except he’s been stopped all the time this year.
Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

Just as much as it has been Smith struggling to get open.

Because it was Smiths fault
Delhomme missed him TWICE on two long throws against Tampa Bay, about the only time we’ve actually tried to get it deep to Smith.
