Thanksgiving Day NFL Games Open Thread
Happy Thanksgiving Panther Fans!!
I hope everyone has big plans to eat till you can eat no more, because that is what we Americans do on ‘turkey day'; its tradition. What else do we do?
We watch some NFL football of course! It has just as much tradition as T-day (at least for me) in the annual throw downs in Detroit and Dallas. Why Detroit and Dallas? I do not know.
Today's first game at 12:30pm EST brings us the Packers of green Bay going into Detroit against a Lions team coming off a big, dramatic victory. Unfortunately two stars from that win probably won't play, QB Matt Stafford and WR Calvin Johnson. I'm sure I will watch it anyway.
The 4:15pm match-up brings the Crypt Keeper and his Raiders of Oakland into Dallas to face the NFC East leading Cowboys. This one might be over early...but I will still probably watch it.
And we will see John Madden and his 4 legged turkey...
And of course I will talk to each of you...on this Open Thread!

I'm watching the Packers Lions game.
It will be bad for the Lions if Calvin Johnson gets injured again.

Because the Lions and Cowboys play on TG every year!
Luckily FSN Pittsburgh is playing games from the Pens cup run, so I have a better option.

Woodson should’ve got that turkey trophy-thing-a-ma-jig.
Not sure why Detroit chose to put their rook out there like that and risk further injury instead of letting Culpepper play.. Imagine he couldn’t have done much worse.
Detroit should work a deal for Rock Cartwright in the off season, give them a nice 1-2 along with Smith without too much difficulty in the way of pulling it off.
Double Trouble; we've got the best running backs in the NFL that never see the ball!

Woodson should have received top honor
Heisman, MVP, yadda yadda yadda. Always Offensive minded for awards.
Happy Thanksgiving and here is to a Panthers Victory this weekend.
Why? Rookie Quarterback against one of the NFL’s best pass defense.
Prediction: Panthers 32- Jets 13
Peppers with 2-3 sacks and defence with 3 interceptions.
(now where did I put that drink?) :)

Are we still talking about Panthers and Football????!
Did you guys happen to catch the Bobcat’s game last night vs the Raptors? They dominated the league’s top offense… Held them to barely over 80 points, and put up 116! Larry Brown adjusted the play book, and turned it into slam-jam mania! Almost everyone on the team had a dunk… I’m talkin’ alley-oops, double pumps, and even a steal, breakaway, reverse dunk by rookie Derrick Brown.
That’s how you dominate Panthers! Take notes from a hall-of-fame coach Fox… That’s how you tweak the play calling when your offense has been struggling!

Too crappy games, went to the movies instead and I rarely do that so that you let everyone know what I think of the Cowboys, Raiders, Packers, and really the Lions I know it is a thanksgiving tradition but sometimes they need to be retired and start new ones.

That Giants game suddenly doesn’t look even remotely intimidating.

No more running game.
That game was history from the moment that Brandon Jacobs went down.
