Panthers Remain at #21 in SBN Power Rankings
Panthers still getting no love. Now the 3-6 Titans are above us!
For a team that relies on the running the ball as a first, second, and third option, having LT Jordan Gross go out with a broken ankle is an especially devastating loss. But don't expect the Panthers to stop handing it off every down; they've realized making Jake Delhomme as much of a bystander as possible is their best path to victory.
We just need to rip off a few wins!

Did they watch the last game? A 24 to 30 pass to run ratio isn’t exactly taking Delhomme out of the game.

With a win tonight, we'll move up to #14 or so...
….not that it means anything. Just saying.

They must not have watched last game.
Good thing the Panthers are one of the two teams playing today. We’ll force the rest of the world to notice us.

Do we really want that to happen...
We always seem to play better as the underdog.

LOL...yes we did.
What a game to be at. The atmosphere was electric.
Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

Peter King has us at 12
Get to 7-5 and all the “experts” will be on the bandwagon again.
See King’s ratings at:

Holy Crap!
Peter King is so used to giving us the shaft lately. Why the sudden boost in ratings? Maybe….maybe he’s trying to set us up for the fall? I shutter to think of it.

Yeah, apparently somebody just bumped into him. Not much of a wreck.

Thanks for the heads up.
Darin Gantt also reports through a Panthers source that Smith is “fine.”
Inactives are now also out: Godfrey, Hoover, Johnson (ouch), Moore (looks like Charly made a good impression), Goodson, Taylor, Robinson, and Feeley as the third QB.

Interesting to me that Taylor doesn't get a jersey even with Johnson down.
I guess this means that Brown has a chance to step up big time with an increased load.

Yeah, no kidding. They must be really confident in the guys they have out there. Either that or they’re really down on Hilee at this point.
