Welcome to Thursday Night Football Panther fans! We are on the national stage yet again Panther fans and this time we get a match-up with the slimy fish from Miami. You might remember we played the fish in Miami during the preseason in which we let the fish have their way with us knowing it would make them over confident for this game.
Tonight will be a different story. The sly 'Ol Fox that is our coach wasn't about to show the fish anything regarding our schemes and formations. They might think they know what to expect but I'm sure the Panthers will have some new wrinkles for them (I hope).
So there you have it. This is now an Open Thread!

I’m worried too(just a little) about the short week and lack of prep for an unconventional opponent, could be seeing some new wrinkles too with Brown out.

The Panthers came out fired up, nice push on run plays but no committment to the run.
Everytime the offense starting to get some rhthym early on they would stray from what was having success, end up 3rd and long and …bingo sack.
We gave away the momentum.
Somehow we gotta get it back. This is still very winnable.

So Dolphins just scored another field goal to go up 17-6; we are done not only today but the season.
No Gross is killing us for sure and our O-Line has given up 3 sacks ? Miscues on offense are key as well. Delhomme now has his back against the wall and this is never a good scenario.
Jeff Davidson is a bum and he is the real reason we cannot do anything on offense.

Why the hell does our team do this shit?
This is so annoying. So annoying. Our playcalling is uninspired. Giving the ball to Jake Delhomme time and time again when he’s not having a good game. Our defense is good, but they can’t tackle when they get tired.
I have to hang this game on the coaching staff. Again. They simply will not run the ball when they need to run the ball. They get into the redzone and they pass the ball 3 time.

Well guys, that's it for me.
We had high times and we had low times, but in the end the Panthers just couldn’t get the job done. They won’t run the football. They’re going to continue executing their same old gameplan regardless of whether it is working or not or we have the personnel to do it.

just fucking why is it that Davidson doesn’t know this stat Jake Delhomme is 50-7 when he throws 30 or fewer passes? Is it just so damn hard to hand the ball off after the first quarter?

Frustrating first half...
The O line came out with some really good push, it’s ashame our coaches sometimes won’t let the talent of the team win on their own. Henne made a great play on that 3rd and long-Dolphins executed well and deserved to win……. my biggest pet peeve (besides Davidson-thats a given) was I thought Marshall pulled up early on Williams 4th quarter TD run and could have been there to push him out of bounds when Martin slowed him up.
Gotta try to hold them to 3 there, gotta scratch & claw to stay alive. Well they had two more games they could lose at least this one was to the AFC.

Over in the 3rd qtr
The play where there were 64+ Miami defenders on the field and Jake just jumps up and down complaining instead of yelling; hut, hut, hike, hike, hut, hut, hut, hike, hike, hut! Might be thee dumbest non-plays that I have ever seen. All they had to do was hike the ball and it would have been 1st down in the red zone. Instead, Jake throws a pick and the game goes completely upside-down. Panthers never recovered.
Jake and Fox have to go. Season over. Absolutely inexcusable! Sorry to overreact, but I’ve had it with these bozos.

If the offense subs, the defense is allowed to sub in response. Carolina subbed, so Miami had to be given the option & opportunity to substitute without Carolina snapping the ball mid-swap.
