How about a little fun after a win?
After a good win today, I thought maybe we could have a little fun. So here is the deal - What Panthers related comment have you made, here or just in conversation, that you basically wince when you remember? For me it was draft day 2007 when I said, "Jon Beason? Who the hell is he? I can't believe we didn't pick Greg Olsen." I still can't believe I actually said that one. How about you guys?

Hmm, this would take quite a bit of thought, as my memory is pretty bad, but one that comes to mind was something along the lines of…
“Oh no! Stephen Davis is gone! Foster sucks and that rookie will probably do no better! We should just start over at running back…”
“That rookie”, of course, ended up being Mr. Williams. It didn’t take me long to pretend I never said those words.
In hindsight, “that rookie” has been leading our team in average rushing yards per carry (for anyone with 20+ carries) since day one, up until now with Stewart edging him out by .1 yards (doubtful that would be so with equal carries).
D-Will has never averaged less than 4.1 yards per carry. (Something that 2006 2nd overall pick Reggie Bush has never done. Imagine if they, or New England, would’ve taken Williams instead?).
That’s why I try to no longer comment on draft picks/rookies! haha

Kris Jenkins traded?!?!!
Well at least we have a first round pick. Wait, what!!!!!! I can’t believe the Panthers made that trade.
Connor and Barnidge later, and depth at DT, I feel sort of foolish.

You shouldn't.
The defense hasn’t been the same since he left.
Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

I think we're getting there though
Let me try again
“Jonathan Stewart? Don’t we have DeAngelo Williams? What a waste of a pick!”

Ha.
I wouldn’t go that far. We’re still in the bottom ten of the league in YPC allowed. And Stewart was the perfect pick for this team.

At the time
I thought we’d be good with D-Will, I saw greatness before any of you guys did. ; ) Stewart just seemed like a luxury pick, I thought a trade down and grab an OT or a DE.

DAMNET!
WHY DIDN’T WE PICK STEVE SMITH! WHYYYYYYYYY?
I put that in all caps because that was the day we drafted Dwayne Jarrett. I was yelling at the television.

Wait! What the?
Oh wait. Here’s one I remember. Not as painful though after this last win.

I was in the same boat as Garrettham...
I was dumbfounded at the fact that they picked up Beason, instead of Olsen in the ’07 draft. But in the ’08 draft I was so excited about the moves they made to get two picks in the 1st rd.

I'm feeling a little dumb for saying just Saturday Night
that I’m screwed with Jake as my QB. This team can win with him at QB still. They just need to play to their strengths and play to the level they are capable of. Now he just needs to deliver a similar performance week to week.

Don't worry Jack!
We tagged Warner. The Curse of the QB is gone. We’ll be just fine now.

What the hell
Why did we pick Johnaton Stewert instead of Mendenhall? Shortly after I was eating my words when he almost had over 800 rushing yards and i think like 10 touchdowns as a back up.
