Delhomme hospitalized, but cleared to return after emotional win
So Jake went to the hospital to get an MRI because the team was concerned about internal injuries (remember, we were responsible for Chris Simms' potentially fatal ruptured spleen some years back), but everything checked out ok. Hoover's got X-rays on his injured ankle, but they came back negative, so he'll likely be back before the season is through. Fiammetta left the game with a concussion. It's at least the second of his career, as he sat out a game his junior year at Syracuse because of another.

The day after...
Delhomme says he’s going to be good to go and he’s no more sore than normal. Said the fact that he had his hands up left him more vulnerable to a shot in the ribs. The injuries to Hoover and Fiammetta also look like we’ll need to pick up a PS FB to get through the week, particularly with Rosario down as well.
Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.
