Cowher Power
Bill Cowher is still sitting at home right? And we are as close to home for him as the NFL gets, right? I think it's time we start the Fox for Cowher pleadings!
I am starting to blame Fox for this entire debacle. Our vanilla game plan is his fault. We have seen this year in Miami how brilliant Henning can be. Then why was he so predictable in Charlotte? Jeff Davidson was said to have invented zone blocking. He wanted to implement more passing to TEs. But this year just like when Henning was here we have seen nothing but Fox football! Power running, then chuck the ball down field. The only reason it has been so successful is because we have a mammoth o-line, 2 high 1st round running backs, and one of the most explosive receivers in the league! Other teams don't have to pack so much heat to be successful! Moreover imagine what our talent could do with a creative genius behind the scene!
Enter Bill Cowher! And this team is already suited just for him. What does he like to do? Run the ball? Check! Strong defense? Check! Careful and limited QB play? Check! Proven winner? Check!
Cowher did amazing things with a Steelers team that didn't even go after high-end players. Imagine what he could do with all this talent.
Who is with me? Is it time for some Cowher Power??????

Sorry Southtunnell
I was never a big fan of Cowher and I don’t see what he brings to the table versus Fox. Instead I’m thinking just a new DC.

Maybe
but I would like to see Fox around one more year and see what changes come. They put together a good offense and I’d like to see what they can do on D.
After next year, my opinion my chance though.

Take a look at the Steelers record under Cowher. They went to the playoffs like 10 out of 15 years, and never missed 2 years in a row. I am piggy backing off you guys stance that Jake needs to be on a shorter leash… Something Fox will NOT do to a veteran. I just don’t see how coordinators could do so well elsewhere, yet be so vanilla here if it’s not Fox’s fault.
I say only bag Fox if Cowher is available. If he’s not them we have to get a better decision maker under center.

It sounds good....
I personally like the idea… but… remember the last high-profile coach we signed? Can anyone say 1-15? I take that back, I’m not saying that train wreck of a season was all Seifert’s fault.. We never should have let Beuerlein go. I’m just saying sometimes a big-name coach, while there are some postives, may not turn out the way we think it will.

True. But it just seems like this team is already built Cowher style.
