NFL Season Kick-off Game Open Thread

The NFL season kicks off tonight with a classic rivalry between the Washington Redskins and the defending champion New York Giants. I could really care less who wins this game but my money is on the Giants. The Redskins did not look too impressive in their preseason contest against the Panthers. Sure, it was a preseason game that meant nothing but they did play their 1st team offensive and defensive lines and they looked very uninspired.

I will just be glad that the season is finally here! Let's see a game that counts! Let's see if the Giants can repeat the magic they conjured at the end of last season.

Forget that! Let's see the Panthers conjure some of their own magic! Problem is we still have to wait until Sunday. At least I don't have to worry about the game getting cancelled because of hurricane Hannah (all the talk where I'm at!) being we're at San Diego.

BTW, I saw on NFL Access where Rod Woodson picked the Panthers as his "upset special". Rod is feeling the magic!!
