What timing, Jaxon is right, Matt Moore definately has to worry about his position on the team. No so much because the Panthers traded for Josh McCown but because during practice he fractured his fibula and is listed as week-to-week. However, when one door closes another opens. Bret Basanez was quickly signed to the practice squad and may be actived to the main roster.

I guess it's only fair that what happend to Bert last year happend to Moore this year. Never want to see a Panther injuired but it is ironic.

Angelo Craig was released from the practice squad to make room for Basanez.

Was Moore rushed back? Marty Hurney says 'No' but given the same leg is now fractured it seems that way.

Hurney said he did not think Moore was allowed to return to practice too quickly.

"Mat went out to practice today and we thought he'd be ready," said Hurney. "Obviously, we want him to get well and get (him) back."

Very disappointing for Panther fans and Matt Moore I'm sure.
