Quick look at the Chicago Bears

We are only 3 days away from our next match up and since both Chicago and Carolina won their first game in an upset, this game proves even more important for both teams. The winning team will get a lot more respect from the rest of the league and the loser people will talk about as "yeah see they couldn't win two big games in a row."

With rookie Matt Forte (RB) behind Orton in Chicago they have shown, at least last week, they have a running game. However, we also showed last week against San Diego that our defense is capable in limiting the running game but at the same time gave up yard in the passing game. So with no big name receiver and as some would call a questionable QB situation for Chicago, where do we stand this week?

I like our defensive match up this week and believe that if our offensive struggles they will at least keep us in the game. On the other side of the ball it very similar, we have shown we are establishing our running game and Chicago defense so far has made Payton and his crew look average, which is a big deal.

Chicago is just as motivated as Carolina is to win this game. I expect it to be another close game won either way by less than a touchdown. I am optimistic that Carolina will win this week but ask any Chicago fan and they will tell you the same thing. This will be a big test for us but if we lose does it mean we are not who we thought we were :) . I don't think so, I still believe our team this year is special and will do go farther than predicted.

If nothing else it should be fun to watch. This week I believe a victory is depends on our ability to establish the ground game. Jake showed us last game he is capable of moving the ball around and finding the open receivers and that the receivers can find a way to get open. With linebackers Brian Urlacher and Lance Bridge in our way, the run blocking will have to play spotless to get the holes they had last week. In the end however I believe we should be 2-0 after Sunday.

The winner will definitely rise in the power rankings

With no turnovers I think it s a pretty even game with Jake being the difference with the passing game over Orton. If either team gives up more than one turnover that will probably swing the outcome.
