Your "AFC Team"
I wouldn't ever ask a real Pantha fan to pull for someone else in the NFC in the middle of the season- but who do you pull for in the other conference (obviously not when they're going up against our boys), if anyone?
...ok, the post has to be 30 more words long...
I'd say the least likely choice -call me crazy- is going to be the Patriots.
I'm also pretty sure that my "true" fanhood will be called into question, but I'm bored at work and need something to pass the time.
And in my GIS, I found this gem I had never seen before...(can you spot the remaining Panthers- and Sir Purr's bitchass doesn't count!)

I pull for Cleveland
I lived in Cleveland in the coldest 7 months of my life when I was in middle school. I went to one Browns game while there but then thankfully returned South. My mom hated Cleveland (we moved there from Florida in January, duh!).
10 wins last season and didn’t make the playoffs, what a bitch.
In the picture I see current Panthers Delhomme, Gross and Ken Lucas (21).Former Panthers Morgan and Mike Wahle. Who is that top right in the pseudo-Heisman pose?

N.C. State!
That’s DeShaun Foster, top right. Maybe you’re just repressing bad memories.
As for AFC teams, I tend to follow my college allegiances, being an NC State man. I like San Diego, and at least some of that has to do with Philip Rivers. I also follow the Jets since Jerricho Cotchery is there, and Houston because of Super Mario.
But if I had to pick one team I follow more closely than others, I’d have to say Jacksonville. They’ve got our old coach, our team philosophy, and have had a bunch of our old players. Kind of a homer choice, I know, I just don’t watch a lot of AFC games. But I will watch pretty much any AFC South games that’re on.

I do the same
I’m a GT grad so I always like to see our alumni do well. Though I still don’t like Detroit I want to see Calvin do well. He was awesome for us and I don’t see why his rookie season didn’t go so well.
I hate Dallas but would love to see Tashard Choice do well. I still keep an eye on our slew of LB’s out there: Keith Brooking, Keyaron Fox, Daryl Smith, Gerris Wilkerson and the recently drafted Philip Wheeler.
As far as viewing it sounds like you need the Sunday Ticket. I bought it for the first time last season and it has great features. You can call up game stats, scoring plays, etc…sweet. Pricey though at $250 but I’ll give it a lot of thought again this season.

Any AFC team that hasn't won a Super Bowl (recently)
I’ve always had a soft spot for Cleveland, especially the two years they lost to Denver in the AFC championship game. Seeing San Diego win one would be nice too—of course after the Panthers win one !

I was about to say...
Forget Cleveland and SD until the Panthers get one! But you clarified.
