Yeah, this is nice.
This shiny new SB Nation world is a nice one. Flowers and rainbows and nymphs splashing in waterfalls. All that, and a real nice WYSIWYG editor. What more could you ask for?
Okay, I suppose there are a couple of kinks. Or one, at least.
Like just now. I tried to post this new FanPost (because really, Diary? Diary?! Who came up with that name, a twelve-years-old girl?) with just that first paragraph, but it said "Your FanPost must be 75 words long!" What an arbitrary limit. Maybe I don't have a lot to say. Maybe I'm like Lincoln and can express my thoughts in few words. Either way, who are you to say I can't post short posts?
Unshackle me, SB Nation!
But seriously, this is nice. Good job, fellas.

It’s for the smaller stuff, or video or pictures. Try it and let me know what you think.
Thanks for your comments, I was starting to worry it scared everybody away. Was claiming your name hard?

Super easy
Claiming my name was super-easy. Very, very smooth. And since I used the same name over at SMQ, it let me claim it in both places (even though SMQ hasn’t transitioned to the new software yet). Very nifty process.

The minimum was 300 words
on the old blog. I would it quite annoying myself when trying to post diaries on other SBN sites. 75 still seems too high. I’ll see if its a setting I can change

I really like this new version...
I’ve gotten used to it by posting over at Bucs Dugout, and really enjoy it.
Especially the scrolling through the comments with “z” and having them automatically update.
No more refreshing every 5 seconds to see new comments during game day!

Oh, and question...
what’s the difference between a fanshot & a fanpost? Just the length?

Fanshot has more options
for video and pics I believe, besides the length thing. Posts are designed for just that

Ah, okay.
I’ll have to test it out when something happens.
