Here's the injury report from Wednesday. We are luckly again to have so few on the list.
Ken Lucas practiced on Wednesday, but both Adam Seward and Hilee Taylor did not.
Here are some updates from rotoworld.com on the Bucs injuries: (Ike Hilliard and Brian Griese didn't have any updates)
DT Jovan Haye:While the Bucs haven't disclosed the extent of DT Jovan Haye's knee injury, it sounds like they are planning to be without him for Monday's game against Carolina.
Coach Jon Gruden said backup Ryan Sims "might have to play 60 plays." Sims has played well as a wave guy, but the Bucs will miss Haye's ability to collapse the pocket up the middle. Sims isn't a pressure player.
TE Alex Smith:
Bucs TE Alex Smith (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
Smith played last week and provided a boost in the running game, but didn't catch any passes. He will be available for Week 14 against the Panthers.
DE Gaines Adams:Gaines Adams suffered a hip pointer in the Bucs' Week 13 win.Adams finished the game with a half sack. He has until Monday night to be ready to face Carolina in Week 14 and should be fine. The 2007 No. 4 overall pick has 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, and six pass breakups this year.
