Injuries to Moose and Jeff King. Update with Kemo.
Defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu said Wednesday afternoon his injured ankle -- specifically his Achilles tendon -- is feeling better and he expects to play Sunday against the Saints.
"I'm pretty close," Kemoeatu said. "As far as right now, I think I can go Sunday. I was probably 60 or 70 percent last week, but I'm in the 90s now and should be 100 percent by Sunday."
Receiver Muhsin Muhammad (foot) also missed practice, as did tight end Jeff King (ankle) and receiver Kenneth Moore (hamstring).
Coach John Fox wouldn't say how serious any of the injuries are.
Your guess is as good as mine to what happened with the King and his Moose. Hopefully we will find out more within the week. Expect for Dwayne Jarrett to have a chance to provide an argument for him to start next year if he's good to go, and for Daunte Rosario to block more if King can't go.

DL very thin
So healthy wise, we have Darwin Walker and a guy we got off the Falcons practice squad? Let’s hope Kemo and Lewis can play. I think Walker will play well and who knows the practice squad guy will be very motivated.

Jeff Who?
Rosario may very well be an upgrade from King. Of all the elements a championship team requires, tight end is where we may be weakest. Most, if not all, of the really great teams had very good/great receiving tight ends. King seems to an afterthought in the Panthers offense. His blocking skill may offset his receiving capabilities; however, I still think an improvement at this position could improve the Panthers.
