Cowboys lose, Panthers Secure a Postseason Appearance
Ladies and Gentlemen, as the final seconds tick off the clock on the Baltimore vs Dallas game, the Panthers are now secured at least a wildcard. While Baltimore controlled most of the game, the final nail for the Cowboys was when McGahee broke through the Dallas D-Line with around 4 minutes left to play for a 77 yard TD to put the Ravens up 26 to 17. The Cowboys tried to make a game of it and drove to scored a TD and brought the score to 26 to 24. Yet on the first possession for the Ravens, Ron McClain broke for a 82 yard touchdown that sealed the deal.
It does take some of the pressure of the Sunday night game against the Giants, but doesn't make the game any less meaningful. For me the biggest relief is that we don't go into NEXT week against the Saints on a must win.

PLAYOFFS BABY!
It’s been a couple of years, but we’re back! Here’s to the playoffs! GO PANTHERS BEAT THE GIANTS!
Mwahaha.
I rub my hands together in general happiness. It’s about time we made it official. I’ve been a Joe Flacco fan ever since the draft ((Another player I was fussing at the Panthers to draft.)) He has quite an arm, the only reason this guy wasn’t a top 5 pick was because he played at a small school.

That's a load off
I was seriously uncomfortable about a lingering possibility of missing the playoffs. Now imagine the damage this 8-0 (at home) team could do with home field advantage!

A big belated WooooooHoooooo!
I had my company x-mas party last night so I’m may behind. I didn’t see this game but just saw the score later that night. Sounds like the Cowboy run D got torched like we did to the Bucs.
It is nice to be back in the playoffs and it would be much nicer getting home field. Huge! Tonights game can’t come soon enough
I blog the Carolina Panthers at www.catscratchreader.com
That would be a good comparison
The Tampa/Carolina game is a good example of how this game played out. Except the Cowboys did hang in a little longer than tampa did.
Those last two runs by Baltimore where classic. First play, long TD runs, may Dad and I were so excited. We actually woke my son up (oopps).
