Day 2: Brandon Jacobs Watch
Multiple sources in the New York area say Brandon Jacobs (knee) is likely to play against the Panthers.
The Newark Star-Ledger and NY Daily News echo a similar report from NBC's Andrea Kremer. Jacobs, speaking at an event in New York, also told a crowd he would play. It appears the Giants were just being cautious holding the Train out last week. Carolina has a below average run defense and Jacobs will be a borderline RB1 if he starts. Dec. 16 - 12:46 pm et

I'm sure the Panthers will plan on him playing
If Kemo’s injury is going to take a few weeks to heal I wonder if the Panthers might call up the rookie DT Nick Hayden from the practice squad. Its going to be a bruising game so Fox may want 4 true DT’s to rotate. With Hilee Taylor still dinged simply moving Johnson DT on 3rd downs may not be an option. I’m not expecting Kemo to play if he was on crutches.
