Worth Noting

Jay Cutler won the corresponding ‘Air’ award of the week, and Ryan Clady beat out JStew for Rookie Of The Week.

It’s the battle of the most-award-winning-in-week-13 teams!

NFL.com releases some info on this topic

Since they went to the trouble to send me the email I thought I would put it up.

Hi, The NFL announced today that DeAngelo Williams has been chosen as this week’s FedEx Ground Player of the Week. This is the first time this season that Williams has won; this award would not have been possible without the support of fans votes at NFL.com/FedEx. Since Williams won a $1,000 donation will go to the local Safe Kids coalition in Carolina. This donation could go towards painting crosswalks, installing signs, landscaping near sidewalks and playgrounds, installing bike racks, and developing educational programs and events to teach kids about pedestrian safety. I’ve pasted the NFL release below in case you need it for story information. Thanks, Shannon McGovern 312-988-2499 NFL.COM

The actual news release doesn’t include any more info about D-Will then is stated above. It includes all the other awards and was too long.
