It's that time Panther fans. After a very long but needed bye week the Panthers return to the field looking to improve their 6-2 record against a raider team in turmoil. I'm sure you've heard by now that CB DeAngelo Hall was released earlier in the week robbing us of a Hall-Steve Smith show down. That responsibility instead will fall to CB Nnamdi Asomugha.
Raiders fans (and the coaches too obviously) apparently feel Asomugha is better than Hall though I don't see it. Hall has over twice the tackles (48 vs. 21) and leads the team in INT's (3 vs. Asomugha's 0). I expect Smith to have a big day.
So lets hear from you Panther fans. Mr. Ed I'm sure you are out there. Everyone please give Mr. Ed updates on whats going on.

I'm not sure if it's so much overconfidence
as it is the Raiders having something to prove after getting absolutely embarrassed last week. Remember KC at Tampa last week? They have something to play for. Ultimately, however, I think it won’t be enough.
