Mid-season Playoff Prediction Shows Lofty Prediction for the Panthers
Here's a premature play-off scenario that has the Panthers getting the #2 seed in the NFC. Mid-season playoff scenarios mean absolutely nothing but coming off of two non-playoff seasons it is sweet to see this type of thing after only 8 games. How quickly things can change in only a month. People are looking at the Panthers remaining schedule and seeing 2 or 3 more losses at the most (knock on wood).
Notice anything else strange about the bracket? How about no Cowboys or Redskins. I hope that the Redskins will beat out the Eagles because I still remember both those teams from the preseason. Besides the Giants, the Eagles are the only NFC team that would really worry me given how bad they pummeled us in the preseason. But it's all speculation anyway. If the Panthers should get the #2 seed and a home game that would put me on cloud nine.
Another thought, could the Panthers-Giants match-up be an NFC Championship preview? Looks that way at the moment. The Panthers have only three tough games remaining in my view, the Packers, Bucs and Giants. The road games against the Falcons and Saints could also be close. The Raiders, Lions & Broncos should be W's. The truth is the only game the Panthers would probably not be the favorite is the Giants game.
So Panther fans, how does that bracket look?

Anybody out there?
Was this a bye week or a goodbye week? I’m looking for signs of life in Pantherland. Please don’t tell me that just because the Panthers are heavily favored this weekend that interest in the game is off. These are the times we should be enjoying every moment, every tackle, completed pass and TD. Let’s crush our next two opponents and not feel bad about it one second. It is to be savored like a tender, juicy steak.

I think it's the elections
Everybody the next couple of days or so shall either be in bed moping all day or they’ll be out partying with their friends. For me I’m back to blogging, got to listen and write about something else besides corrupt politicing and rigged polls and the biased media.
It’s back to sports!

Wait until you see whats going on in Oakland
D-Hall is gone and more may be joining him. It’s a wild development for the middle of the season.

It's weird really.
Al Davis needs to lock himself in the closet and let a head coach develop the team.
He expects wild results immediately and fires people too quickly. Now he’s mucking around with team management and it’s going to cause the team problems. I think the best thing for the team to do is to get a new owner, I’m beginning to doubt his sanity.

I likey
I would be stoked with that scenario. we need a home playoff game. Jaxon…I’m guessing along with you on the remainder of the schedule, 3 tough games. I am definitely looking forward to watching my Panthers play this weekend. It will be kinda of odd seeing them play the late game. At least the bye week blues are over. I expect to see total domination rom the Panthers with most everyone healthy! Hope Stewart’s heel will be OK. The Raiders are an absolute mess. Should we feel bad for their fanbase? Nahhh

the redskins
I’m convinced the Redskins will be one of the wildcard teams, and the Cowboys still have a chance. I think it will be a battle for the wildcard spots between Dallas, Washington and Tampa. Really don’t care for the Eagles. I’m celebrating and I think we could face any of those teams in the NFC Championship game.
