2008 PANTHERS TOTALLY DISREPECTED

We get no luv.  None.

We get no natl media attention.   None

We get sucky 6th string retarded announcer teams

I am angry.      In 3 or 4 weeks as Lamarre Lathon once said:

the NFL will KNOW where Charlotte NC is!!!

Atlanta is one of the BIGGEST games in franchise history

It WILL shut up all the hate-o-aid.

This team IS top 2-3 in ENTIRE NFL.

I think we will win all excpet GB going in classic match-up with

Giants Dec 21.  And then we will take E-lie down.

Tampa Bay loss

I Would have to say most of the media isn’t intrested in wins over Oakland and Detroit. Most of are games have come down to the last quarter. Plus Tampa Bay Beat the crap out of Carolina. Maybe back to back division wins will bring the National media to NC.

Respect is earned, not demanded

If you watch the pre-game shows their are some pundits on the Panther bandwagon and their are some who point to the inconsistency (perceived maybe?) and wonder if it won;t bite them in the playoffs.

Right now the national spotlight is on the Giants repeating a Super Bowl run and the Titans for being undefeated, as well as Brett Favre for being Brett Favre.

If we were to release a spanking on the G-Men, that would probably get everyone on the Panthers banwagon going onto the playoffs. At the same time I don’t really like that because then it would get the Panthers high on themselves, and when that happens they’ve been known to dissappoint.

Remember in 04 when SI declared them the preseason pick to win the Super Bowl? 8-8 epic phail.

And of course, they aren’t going to release good announcers to games which are typically not going to be very contested. John Maddon wants to watch football, not a one-sided spanking.

hummm...
John Madden wants to watch football, not a one-sided spanking.

For some reason I can’t get rid of the thought about Thanksgiving football and a turkey.

With Lions playing every year

its been a spanking. Oh yeah, its Titans vs Lions on Turkey Day. Surely a spanking

we HAVE earned respect. blew out atlanta,no,kc,. beat bolts on road. beat ariz. bears
so sick of hearing about over rated peice of c*&^ dallas. cowboys were LUCKY to beat cincy. washington had them. f dallas.
after we beat atlanta, it will be with rookie QB etc.
i guess we WILL have our chance. pack/giants/denver

Yeah I was hoping the Redskins would stick a fork in the Cowboys season

but maybe they can recover now at 6-4. They have a tough schedule remaining.

The Panthers were gaining respect until the Raiders and Lions games. Funny how winning two games can actually hurt your rep. Whatever…I think its better being the underdog for now anyway.

lack of respect

Hey!
I totally agree. . . the panthers do better under the radar, but c’mon! We are getting NO respect, no attention, essentially being written off for the same sort of game the Steelers had last night. MOST of all, I am sick and tired of hearing about the beloved NFC East which sports one legit team (giants), and a bunch of overrateds. Don’t tell that to the Nat’l media, however. ESPN: Dallas, dallas, dallas, and more dallas. Second course: What about Washington? What about G-Men? TO! Romo! Donovan! Andy Reid! Please stay tuned while we turn to a commercial! Check out the Troy Aikman car lot! Great deals on used cliches!

Nice rant Catchick!

I agree but now that we lost to the Falcons it’s harder to say we deserve more cred. Still, the NFC East bias is disgusting and I doubt anything will change anytime soon. We still have weeks of it left.

Welcome to the blog Catchick! I look forward to hearing from you more.
