Most Memorable Panthers Games Ever??
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the site but love what I see so far and can't wait to get more involved.
A question for you though- If you were to think back over the past years of Panters football, which individual games stick out most in your minds? Things like huge comebacks, miraculous wins, crazy things that happened in the stands, SuperBowls, conference championships, blunder type games (Leon Lett type things)?
Thanks guys!! Just trying to get some insight into what makes the Panthers so special to so many of us!!

the Eagles game
Let me start out by saying I hate McNabb and Andy Reid. They get too much praise for crapping on players (T.O., Sheppard, Bobby Taylor, Hugh Douglas, Jeremiah Trotter) when they stink it up on a regular basis – Every year since their SB appearance, the Eagles have a losing record with McNabb, and Andy Reid’s house is a drug emporium.
With that said, we played them in Philly, and because we were a lucky, middle of the road team, they were supposed to get by us and finally get to the SuperBowl. Well we palyed the only playoff game i history in which a team went the whole game without a penalty or a turnover. We beat them in their own home to get to the Super Bowl.
It was lovely.

For me it's the Rams game in 2003 playoffs
When first Ricky Manning Jr. made that interception to kill the Rams potential game winning drive and then Jake hit Smitty on that seam route. When Smitty broke free I was a jumpin and yellin!

What about the first game of the 03 season?
When the Jags had the Panthers down by 3 scores at halftime, and then John Fox puts Jake Delhomme in for the first time and we all of the sudden come all the way back to win the game. I’ve never seen such night and day change in our offense.

I do remember that one as well
It might be #2 most memorable game, and then the victory over the Cowboys in the ’96 playoffs.

good game
I remember the Jags game. I was pissed because I thought Rodney Peete sucked, and then we bring in a guy with no history of success at any level, Jake Delhomme, and he couldn’t even beat out Peete in training camp. Then we went on to love, live and die with Jake.

the first big win
I’d have to go with the Panther ‘s win over the 49ers in their debut season. I’ve always despised the Niners, and to have an expansion team beat them….. sweet!
