CSR Round 1 Playoff Predictions
Since I can't ignore the playoffs completely being the complete football nut that I am I've decided to show my ignorance yet again. Here are my playoff games prediction for the round 1 games being played this weekend.
#6 Washington vs. #3 Seattle
Though I realize Seattle had little to play for when they played the Panthers, I was still unimpressed. If the Redskins run the ball successfully, which I think they will, then I see the 'Skins riding the Sean Taylor emotion to a playoff victory. Redskins 23 Seahawks 16
#5 Jacksonville vs. #4 Pittsburgh
Given the Jaguars just beat the Steelers a few weeks ago pretty handily makes this an easy pick. I think the Jags again run all over the Steelers and Big Ben doesn't have enough weapons to compete. Jaguars 31 Steelers 17
#5 New York vs. #4 Tampa Bay
I think tanking your last two games just because you have nothing to play for creates a bit of a hangover that leads to mistakes. I think the Giants mix in just enough passing and a lot of running to outlast the Bucs in a close game.
Giants 27 Bucs 24
#6 Tennessee vs. #3 San Diego
This is a rematch of the incredible comeback the Chargers delivered on the Titans mid-season. With Vince Young a game day decision I think the Chargers will play one their best games of the season as LT has a big day. Chargers 34 Titans 13
So there it is, I'm predicting 3 lower seeds knock off the higher seed on the road as the Redskins and Giants ride recent momentum and the Chargers just outclass the Titans. This prediction hurts me to say it: the NFC East has three of the four best teams in the conference.
So let me hear your predictions my faithful readers.

Why is the publics opinion as such? I read and hear it every where. The Bucs lost three of four, they rested their players for nothing etc etc....
Plain and Simple: Had QB Jeff Garcia got injured in any of the 4 Meaningless Games we finished the season with, Our Playoff Run would be for NOT, it basically would have been for shits and giggles.
You cut me real deep there Jaxon!! hah!
We shall see JScott
If you guys win I'll be the first say Gruden is a wise man. Even if you lose but play a good game ie... no turnovers, poor plays... it still proves your point. If the Bucs play poorly then I think it proves everyones point.
