Here's an open thread to discuss todays face off between the Panthers and David Carr's old team. Let's hope he doesn't get in the game!

Poll Results: The top three players predicted to win MVP honors is Steve Smith, Julius Peppers & DeAngelo Williams. No big surprise there and only one taker on a Drew Carter repeat.

Fortunately

My laptop is on the blink and was unable to support the open thread. It happended right aorund the end of the 1st quarter when it when flying out my window. Weird.

Sreiously, I surprised more RBR fans haven't abused me. We deserve it.

Abuse

I don't know about other BRB readers, but after 5 years of cellar-dwelling, I'm not about to start gloating. Especially after watching Delhomme/Smith.

I get that we've got a whole new attitude now, and I was hugely impressed by the matter-of-fact way our guys got busy after going in the hole by 14 early. But I gotta tell you, I was rooting for that game clock to tick down. The only thing worse that getting blown out from the opening whistle would have been to watch the Cats overcome that 34-14 deficit and win the damn thing.

So, no abuse. I'll even wish y'all luck -- just not against us.
