Harris Brings a Nasty Attitude to Panther Secondary

According to Chris Harris, he brings a nasty attitude to the Panther secondary.

"I think I bring a nasty attitude to the field," Harris said. "I’m a hard-hitting safety on the field. I’m very aggressive, and I bring that, too."

I would happily slide him into the SS spot, but if Minter retires who will play FS? I’m not sold on Cooper at all and Salley is hurt. If Salley can play then I would put him at SS and use Harris’ experience at FS. Fox may prefer him at FS as well because of the experience factor.

"Obviously we’ve only had two days of practice with him, but we felt well enough about him to trade for him," Coach John Fox said. "He’s a guy who’s started 20 games in the league. He’s been in some big spots — playoffs and even the Super Bowl. So we’re hoping for good things."

Just when it seemed we solved our safety problem we now have more questions. I think this first preseason game against the Giants will tell us a lot about the safety position.
