Jake Lovers

There seems to be a fierce battle brewing between the Jake Delhomme fans (like myself) and the Jake-haters.  As fickle as Panther fans are, there is not much love for key players when they make a mistake. Yet I really appreciate what Jake has done for this team, and with a new/improved offensive scheme, I think he still has some juice left in the tank. However I am worried that as soon as he makes one mistake this year Fox is going to be pressured to put Carr in. Being a web developer, I was thinking to create a quick community/pro-Jake website to combat all the Jake-haters and show some support.  Do you guys think this is a good idea or a waste of time?  What might be some good domain names?  CajunUp.com?  JuiceUpJake.com?

I'm not sure Jake needs it yet

I got frustrated with Jake last season because it seems that when things went bad he appeared to be calling out his teammates one the field. You never see Favre or Manning do that (too often). You wait till you get on the sideline. He also looked like he was whining too much. A couple W's will fix all that. I think Jake has to do very poorly and the Panthers get off to a bad start for Jake to get benched. Fox will stick with him in the same fashion that Parcells stuck with Bledsoe last season but lets hope for a better outcome.

I like cajunup.com though.

Keep Showin Us Jakes Chicken

Jake whines at times and occasionally loses his temper, but it's because he is very passionate about winning.  You gotta take the good with the bad. This same passion makes him a fiery leader that really pumps up this team. Henning's offense had become too predictable last year, and that made Jake look bad.  I expect him to bounce back this year.

Chris McClain from WFNZ, suggested "Keep Showin Us Jakes Chicken.com".  I thought that was pretty funny.
