I think we all have been watching from the stands or our television sets since the Superbowl asking, Where is that vaunted defense that everyone keeps talking about?

To me, since the departure of Jack Del Rio, we haven't really been the same defense (or at least we've been on a downward slide since making the Superbowl the following year). Did we find it last week? I would love to hear some thoughts from some other fans. We had a few takeaways in that game that looked promising, but is that the symptom of an under performing offense or a good defense.

I'm trying to stay positive

The first INT was a bad pass by Brees and the second was batted up in the air by the WR. Sure, we were in the right place at the right time. I find myself going back to the coaching. I'm not sure we are calling good plays and/or running the right schemes. I can see the D playing hard on every play. We know we have talented players who have played at a high level in the past. I can't think they all got old at the same time.
